During the measuring for the ÖSTM (Austrian Championship) in Neusiedl it was found that the life jackets of 6 sailors did not have the required buoyancy of 50 N and therefore were not conforming to the rules.

Regel C.1.3. "When racing, each crew member shall wear personal flotation device to the minimum standard ISO 12402-5 (Level 50) or equivalent. Inflatable buoyancy vests are not permitted."

This will be closely observed also during the ÖJM (Austrian Youth Championships)!
